Exhaust System: In this design, the focus is on expelling stale or hot air from the department, allowing fresh air to flow in through existing openings such as doors and windows. This can be achieved using wall-mounted exhaust fans, axial fans, or roof extractors.

Fresh Air Supply System: Here, only fresh air is introduced into the department, displacing stale or hot air through existing openings. A variation of this system involves spot cooling of operators, ensuring optimal comfort for individuals working in the department.

Supply & Exhaust System: This is the most effective ventilation system, where cool fresh air is introduced to dilute the conditions inside the department, while the exhaust system efficiently removes hot air. The combination results in a favorable environment within the department.
